Accessibility Statement

JobFix.ai is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We believe that everyone deserves equal access to career tools and opportunities, regardless of their abilities or the technology they use. We are continually working to improve the accessibility of our platform and apply the relevant international standards. This statement was last reviewed in May 2025.

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines are developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. WCAG defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Our current target is Level AA conformance.

We are partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Some areas of our platform are still being updated to fully meet this standard.

• Semantic HTML5 elements (header, main, nav, section, article) for better screen reader navigation
• ARIA landmarks and labels throughout interactive components
• All images include descriptive alt text
• Color contrast ratios of at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text (WCAG AA)
• Focus indicators are visible for all interactive elements
• Forms have associated labels and descriptive error messages
• Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
• No content flashes more than 3 times per second (seizure prevention)
• Skip navigation links available for keyboard users

JobFix.ai is designed to be fully navigable using a keyboard alone. All interactive elements — including buttons, form fields, navigation menus, and links — can be reached and activated using the Tab, Enter, Space, and arrow keys. Our AI resume builder and ATS checker are designed with keyboard-accessible workflows.

• Tab / Shift+Tab: Move between interactive elements
• Enter / Space: Activate buttons and links
• Arrow keys: Navigate within menus and dropdowns
• Escape: Close dialogs and dropdown menus

JobFix.ai has been tested with and aims to support the following assistive technologies:

• Screen readers: NVDA (Windows), JAWS (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), TalkBack (Android)
• Browser zoom: Up to 400% zoom without content loss
• High contrast mode: Windows High Contrast and macOS Increase Contrast modes
• Switch access: Compatible with switch navigation devices
• Voice control: Designed for compatibility with Dragon NaturallySpeaking and Voice Control (macOS)

We have taken the following steps to support users with visual impairments:

• Text and background color combinations meet WCAG AA contrast ratios
• Information is never conveyed by color alone — patterns, labels, and icons are used alongside color
• All icons have accessible labels or are accompanied by visible text
• Font sizes are set in relative units (rem/em) to respect user browser settings
• Our site is compatible with browser extensions like Dark Reader for high-contrast needs

While we work toward full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, some areas of our platform have known limitations we are actively addressing:

• Some complex data visualizations in analytics dashboards may not be fully accessible to screen readers
• Some third-party embedded components (e.g., payment forms) may not meet our accessibility standards
• PDF resume exports may not be fully accessible — we are working on tagged PDF output
• Some dynamic content updates may not reliably announce to all screen readers

We prioritize resolving these issues and update this list as improvements are made.
